I heard there are some newer cars which use lasers/lidar which can damage the camera sensors on some smartphones.

Never heard of that, but I can see new cars being made with stuff that isn't good for other things placed inside.

I imagine there maybe a lot of complaints for cars which have things which are not good for things which are placed inside or outside of the car.

I still don't like there is slow PCs in cars managing its systems, my car touch screen is very slow these days.

It is unfortunate that companies like car companies use slow touchscreen.
