I heard Bestbuy's Geeksquad is closing down in the US.

Oh wow, didn't hear that. Sad days to see that being closed down.

I read articles that Geeksquad is massively
reducing its workforce, so Bestbuy would still have Geeksquad, but with a lot fewer workers.
Hopefully, Bestbuy can hire more Geeksquad workers in the future instead of mass lay offs.

Their wait times were always bad but now they will be impossible.

I wonder if Bestbuy will hire back layoff Geekdquad workers if there are too many complaints about slow service.

Possible, but their main fanbase was old people and they are always thinning out.

I think some people may use Geeksquad because it can be more convenient to hire Geeksquad to setup or upgrade their computer than look for another tech support company.
Bestbuy not selling products like Physical Bluray and DVD movie disc may also cause fewer people to go to Geeksquad because some people may of learned about Geeksquad after visiting Bestbuy to buy a physical disc movie.

Sadly discs and their readers are long gone, Staples got rid of theirs well over 5 years ago already, hard to believe.
