I imagine there maybe third party software for Linux GUIs to make it easier to change the font size for the GUI.

Linux should, as long as you know how to use the GET command and have the right PC parts, it should be possible.

Might be, Linux does come in many flavors.

Some people connect their PC to a big screen tv, so small text size maybe less of a problem for many people,

I imagine a lot of people buy big 4K TVs to connect their PC to a 4K TV to watch 4K vdeos and games.
