I imagine there are probably more Apple users who may send reports from their Apple PC because more people are using Apple computers these days.

Nice thing about apple, they rarely get viruses due to their tough security, nothing to recommend for an apple device.

I think a lot of Apple users also mainly get their programs from the official Apple app store which apps are less likely to contain malware.

The app stores for both android and apple tend to release infected stuff for a time before caught, nothing is perfect :(

That is true. Maybe using web apps found on websites made with Javascript and HTML could be safer alternative than using apps from App stores.

It's better to not download everything you see, many AVs recommend keeping the bare minimum apps/programs on your devices.
