I guest some fake reviewers may post a PC game running in game streaming service like Nvidia Now instead of locally on a slower computer.

Yep, anything for a good review or pushing pc parts. People go pretty long lengths to make it happen.

At least, people can try out computers at a store before buying a computer, so they are less likely to get tricked into buying a slow PC part.

Most retail PCs you can, sadly you can't test out a gaming Pc as much as I would like.

At least, there are online forums with many members who own Gaming video cards and faster CPUs, so it maybe possible to ask them how the computer part like video card performs while playing games.

It's good to get that feedback, but sometimes mass produced stuff gives a batch of bad equipment that gets into the wild.

I feel sometimes lower quality parts like cheaper wires may accidentally get used because the factory owner got tricked into buying lower quality parts which get installed on their computer parts.
