Should people go to College if they can't really afford to go to college? example: "eating shitty food, so they can pay for books and school fees"?

everyone should be entitled to further there education,
but that is silly, they should just look for a cheaper college

Do you think it's worth getting into thousands upon thousand (£/$/€ etc) to get a degree?

Yes if you can afford it otherwise just go to the library or a cheaper college if you don't have thousands upon thousands of dollars.
