I wonder if those small USB fans would blow enough air to cool a CPU and the rest of a computer when the door is open.
I think in some places like the Arctic, if you turn off your home's room heater it maybe enough to cool a PC with a broken fan.

Re: Discontinue pentium?
I'm thinking it won't, it takes direct air to keep it cool I'm guessing.

There are some PC and powersupply which case is a metal heatsink cooler which can cool a PC, but the room air temperature needs to be colder. I think the CPU may also run at a slower speed when it gets too hot.

I've found that its hard to get the cool room air to flow to the PC tower, sometimes the fan keeps the air out.

PC fan makers and computer brands may make the fan spin at a fast speed, so they get less complaints from people who think their PC fan is not spinning fast enough, and to prevent dust from sticking to the fan.
I think low power and very old PC CPU which run MS-DOS snd Windows 3.1 and 95/98 can sometimes be cooled by a metal heatsink without a fan.

I think MS-DOS and Windows 3.1 have very simple graphics, and sound, and the CPU ran at a slower speed in the past, so the CPU can be cooled without a fan like early game consoles like the Nintendo console.
