I think a lot of schools are teaching kids to use web browsers, MS Office, Google Docs, and make simple computer programs.

I'm not sure if most kids computer classes teach kids about closing infected websites, or how to prevent viruses from websites. I still hear stories of young people getting their social network accounts hacked after clicking on a link.

I have no idea what they teach, but I know there are still students going into college not knowing better.

It would be useful if more young people are required to take a few hour course on preventing getting computer viruses, or getting tricked by a cyber criminal who trick them to install a trojan virus.

A lot of young people don't regularly watch talk shows and news, so many young people may never seen occasional TV news stories where a computer security professional talk about the dangers of computer viruses, spyware, and ransomware, and how to prevent virus infections. A lot of websites which young people go on may not have many topics on computer security.

Would be good for a lot of people to take maybe early or bi-yearly computer training, scams and viruses are only going to get worse as time goes on.

Pre-recorded short tv video on basic computer security shown during TV and online video commercial breaks could be useful for less experience PC users.

Maybe, most might view it as a bad commercial ad and ignore it as they wait to get to use their PC device.

Maybe giving away chances to win prizes like giftcards in a contest for viewing basic computer security videos could convince more people to watch short videos on preventing viruses, and antivirus companies can advertise their AV to people.
