never thought of that before, I'll be sure to keep my printers offline.
I usually turn off my Printer if it has a Wi-Fi adapter on the printer since you never know if a hacker can hack a router, and also hack a nearby wi-fi printer which has a ON signal.

If you have your PC connected to the internet, and your printer is ON and connected to your PC's USB port, a hacker can always hack your PC and use your printer to print spam, and scams to try to sell you things like fake antivirus software to prevent your printer from getting hacked again.

I know a lot of people who tend to leave their printer on for easy access, I might have to educate them or at least make their password near impossible to break.

I just leave my Printer off when I am not using it since I don't like the green power light being ON when the printer is ON, and not being used.

It depends where its located, its not a bother on mine but I know some devices have some extremely bothering lights on them.

I find the lights which shine brightly on routers can be annoying.

I had to take a piece of black electrical tape to mine, they were simply too bright.

I wish printers and electronic's use lights which are white, yellow, or orange, so they can be use to help brighten a room, or as a night light.
