I think Outlook have a few security vulnerabilities.
I heard gmail is more secure and better then outlook.
Just a tip never reply to spam or click on the links inside spam.
Plus installing an antivirus like Symantic or
http://www.avast.com/ can help getting infected by nasty programs.

I hate Symantec. Had it for a few years, got sick of it and got AVG instead.

the scams are so bad they are not true and even someone as stupid as me would not fall for them

clearly you are smart then, as many idiots on a daily basis DO fall for these scams,
even people who would consider thereselves 'computer savvy' have fallen for them,
though clearly they were technical idiots, and most likely idiots in general,

Those emails are so stupid. I feel sorry for the people who fall for them.

I just hate that the people who write them make up the saddest stories like "My family member recently died . I need someone to fund my mission to get my inheritance back. Your money will be a great help." so they can scam people who think they are doing something good, but are actually being tricked.
