Plus, it is a good idea to keep your facebook sn and myspace sn away from your boss if you are into posting pictures of yourself in a Bikini or speedo getting drunk at a party since your chance of getting hired might be lower since employers tend to not want to hire part animals who are unproffessional.

Yes. I never give out my actual im accounts, or register with my personal email address on forums.. and from the stupid updates I get regarding the forums I have joined, and unsubscribed from make me grateful of that.

I keep people in jars does that count?

unfortunately due to me using phrases common in my line of work it's fairly easy to find my profiles on varions networking sites
But luckily people know better than to go looking, (the aforementioned keeping people in jars is partially the reason)

I mostly keep my online websites that are "under construction" a secret to most people since I want to create a website I am proud of and look nice before I tell my friends and family about it.

Telling people the link of my websites that are still under construction is kind of dumb since they would be less likely to come back if there is a nothing on the site. They be more likely to come back if it has good content, or services like how google revolutionize internet search.

I usually tell people about my online websites when I feel it is about 80%-95% finish depending on what kind of site I am building.
