Ahh yes food poisoning. Must be careful of what you eat and the oil is differnet here too. I've never got really bad food poisoning but I had a friend that had to go to ER for it. I just had to suffer through really bad tummie aches the first 3 months that I was here I actually lived off bread cause I was so scared to eat anything else. But now it's better for me though I still occassionally auffer from tummy aches

i wouldnt use the word strong...their food is unsanitary and for someone with a really sensitive stomach like mine. they have the be really careful with what they eat and also a lot of the time if you're taking take out, they put the freshly cooked food off the grill directly into a Styrofoam box and the styrofoam will melt into the food, so thats kinda gross too. and the oil...its not normal oil...the only strong thing is that in shanghai, people loveeeee their sugar, everything i ate was sweet, even their chips were sweet, it was weird i always have to go out of my way to buy the expensive foreign chips
