I doubt I'll ever be purchasing the WIiiU. It doesn't look like my type of handheld. Besides, I think the designs don't look even great. I also don't think Nintendo should have released a handheld type of Wii.

if it's one thing Nintendo can do, it's handhelds. I woundn't knock them for that.

Based on the pictures and videos I think it's worth a try. The touch screen controller is very interesting. I have a Wii Fit for a year now, and I think this can be a good upgrade.
