Yeah sure, I'm gonna buy one. My Play Station 3 is dead. I need another one.

The price of the PS4 still seems kind of high after sales tax, electronic recycling fees, and shipping and handling if ordering online.
For 1-2 hundred more, people can buy or build a starter Gaming PC which can play a lot of games on medium to high settings which are currently out for PC, and can be played with Xbox 360 USB gamepad controller and keyboard and mouse, or people can buy multiple cheap used game consoles like the Xbox 360 Arcade, Wii, and Ouya.

Not everyone is a PC person even if it means sinking in the money for a better machine. I grew up on large tvs, system and controller and thats how I and many others plan to keep it.

The Steambox could draw more people to PC since Steambox is a console which is also a PC with access to Valve's Steam Games store. The Steambox would also have controller support for playing games with a controller, and the Steambox plug into a TV.

that's why steambox was made, because PC game makers know that there are those who will never leave their consoles.
