Is your Outlook e-mail a new account which you recently registered?
I notice most e-mail accounts which are new, and rarely used don't get much spam.

roughly two years old now. I only use it on five sites at the most

I guess that your Outlook account was not formally a hotmail.com or live.com e-mail account which got converted to outlook.com after Microsoft decided to re-name its e-mail domain to outlook.com.

I did have accounts on those, but this one was created solely on outlook.

I think Skype, MSN/Windows Live messenger, and Xbox Live required you to either make a hotmail or live e-mail account, so most people who own an Xbox, Xbox 360, and is a long time user of Skype had a hotmail or live account which got converted to Outlook.com.

Pretty sure I made it on outlook only, I made it after my PSN got hacked and needed a secure email.
