Windows had a lot of security updates over the years to prevent virus infection from the thousands to millions of viruses which currently exists. I think all these security updates make Windows run slower.

specially when they update every Tuesday! God help the person who buys a laptop which has been sitting in storage for a good while and needs updates.

I bet, a lot of unsold laptops from Back to School can take a long to sell, and needs many hundreds of MBs to GBs of storage to fully update Windows.

Cheaper lowend Windows 10 laptops with a lot of programs like MS Office 365 free trial and McAfee antivirus, and 32GB of SSD storage may not have enough space to download full OS upgrades of Windows 10 like Windows 10 Creator, and 10 Fall Creator.

nope, not really. Specially when you got programs like mcafee that takes a special uninstaller to get off.

A clean install of Windows can also remove most of the bloatware which is hard to remove.

I agree, you also get back a lot of storage space, and your PC may use less RAM, and CPU because fewer un-needed background programs like those bundled system utility programs are running in the background.

Your PC maybe more safe from virus infections by doing a clean install of Windows to remove pre-installed programs like Flash, Java, and bloatware which may contain security and privacy problems which cause your PC to be more easy to get infected by opening a virus infected file or website on an outdated browser, and outdated version of Flash, Java, and bloatware which came with your PC.
