I agree, rubber bands are good. Those twist ties which come with cables can be good as well.

Good point, I should start saving some. I know I will have a lot of cables in the far future setups.

In the past, small plastic sandwich bags came with twist ties.

I remember those, good luck finding them anymore. It's all zip up bags these days.

Some of those Zip lock bags are not good where the zipper can come off if the bag moves a lot in your bag, or if the zipper is not properly aligned.

I think flexible metal twist ties with plastic covering are somewhat more expensive than cheap plastic zippers which are stuck on the bag.

Twist ties are less likely to come apart when properly twisted unless you are lazy and don't twist them tight enough.

It is disappointing that household items like bags with bundled twist ties are being replaced by zipper bags which are not as tight.

I know trash can bags still come with twist ties, despite many coming with closing pull tags.
