It is unfortunate that Operating Systems are becoming so bloated that the OS requires a lot of RAM and CPU to run built-in security programs like pre-bundled antivirus and firewalls without slowing down.

Would be nice if things became more light weight but MS wants to make it heavier OS.

I wonder if operating system makers make their OS bloated on purpose, so users will buy a new computer like Microsoft Surface Laptop/tablet.

Oh I know I do, if I don't wipe a PC with a blank OS, then I'm uninstalling a ton of junk software.

It is unfortunate that junk software is still being installed on many store bought computers without the user's permission. I feel some of the junk software may contain security problems which make the computer more likely to get infected, and some of those junk programs may contain trojan horse viruses and spyware.

I don't think any of them are security hazards, besides trying to get off like Mcafee or norton.

It would be nice if computer makers bundled a regular version of Windows on a USB flash drive, so users can more easily install a clean version of Windows without Norton an bloatware.
