It would be nice if PC makers create a built-in hardware firewall in their PC, so PC users can be protected from viruses which can hack a PC's OS with no software firewall and weak and outdated software firewalls on their OS or router.

There should be a centralized AV, no need for so many out there to confuse people.

I'm surprise that there are still so many antiviruses. I think some of the smaller lesser known antiviruses maybe re-branded versions of more popular antiviruses, but sold at slightly lower prices.

I know a few like Kaspersky are close to shutting down or you can't get anywhere.

I think using Russian software like Kaspersky may not be allowed in government and big company computers because of the Ukraine war.

They were actually being banned some years ago related to russian hacking, a bad picture for any AV that is supposed to keep someone safe.

I wonder if Kaspersky's website is blocked in some countries and companies to prevent users from downloading and using their AV software which look risky to use because of the Russian hacking scandals.
