I think some more experienced PC users who don't like paying for expensive repairs may pay more for more durable computer parts as well. A lot of users who used a PC for a few years may have bad experiences with paying for an expensive repair or buying an expensive PC part for their broken computer, or tablet, so they may buy more durable computer parts which last longer, and survive being dropped on the floor from a few feet.

True, but so long as they have the money to do so, most would pay for the parts and fix it themselves.

I agree most experience PC users would buy more durable parts, and install it themselves because it can be difficult to find affordable and good computer repair services.

Some don't even want to install it, due to parts breaking while installing. Or not done right so the PC doesn't boot up.

I think some motherboards may also require people to change a seting to turn off the onboard video before installing a video card which can make installing a video card more complicated.

Long as bios turns on, then yeah some settings might need to be changed on a first boot up, but only if the specs are advanced.

I imagine a lot of newer computer users, or people who are not good at reading could have problems updating settings in a BIOS. Using a motherboard without onboard video could make installing a new graphics card easier because you don't need to disable the onboard video chip on the motherboard.
