Not sure if any of them went that far, but I guess if money was limited they would take really good care of it.

I heard some Bitcoin mining companies are in poorer countries, so I feel they may want their video cards to last longer because they may of borrowed lots of money to buy enough computers and servers to mine bitcoin, and they need to earn enough Bitcoin to pay off big loans. Replacing video cards every few months to years can get expensive which make it harder to save enough money to pay off loans for buying so much tech to mine Bitcoin.

That's very possible, they could also have connections on how to get their hands on cards before they hit the market, sometimes the poor countries are the ones building the devices.

I think some cryptocurrency mining companies pay more money to preorder newer videocards, and computer parts which may make it more difficult for companies to pay off loans if the price of electricity goes up or they are not earning enough from mining cryptocurrencies.

these companies do go in pretty deep debt to make sure they can get their parts.

I think it is the same for AI where companies borrow a lot of money to buy enough servers to use for AI.
