I've seen some use a joystick as well, an odd thing to use on a PC for browsing but it can work. More and more people want alts to mouse useage.

I think smaller joysticks maybe less odd.

I think IBM used to have a small joystick button on their laptops which work okay for moving the mouse cursor.

A lot of PCs used to use that little button, it was nice when nothing else worked.

It is too bad that PCs don't come with as many buttons like the little cursor button on older IBM laptops where the button can be useful when nothing else works because the touchpad broke and the USB mouse no longer works because the cord broke.

True, having a back up to a mouse or mouse bad is needed, can't do much if you can't move the mouse cursor.
