Are linux updates as bad as windows updates since I heard some people saying windows update just messes up their pc.

I hate Windows Update. Every time I download one, it messes up my PC. I've never had a Linux, so no idea.

depends on the update
with linux is updated on a by module/component basis,
so if 1 component screws something up you can easily remove it
I never really understood Thursdays.

Whenever I say Linux. People always think it is hard, and say uhhh, I just use Windows because it is easier. The simplest people say `Get mac, it so much better`

no the idiots say get mac it's better,
Mac has many holes and is seriously overbloated, makes vista seem like it ahs almost god like speed
yea, people think linux is hard, as they are misinformed tahts it's mostly command line like freeBSD, rather than the GUI happy opensuse, ubuntu etc

If you show anything command line even dos, people usually just freeze up and don`t know what to do or just call someone to help.

GUIs are really the noob's guide to computers. You can't reconfigure the system with a GUI, right? For somethings, like Pokémon Storage Systems, GUIs are better, but for OSes I prefer command line.
