There maybe some people who prefer lower quality speakers, so users don't use PC speakers for too long to listen to music instead of using the computer for working on homework or office work.

I can't imagine who want low quality, besides those who want to play old school games on them.

I feel people who play retro games and lower quality media files may buy lower quality speakers to re-create the retro games experience.

Yep, they buy old school CRT TVs to truly keep the experience.

I heard CRT TV have no lag problems where the image is laggy compared to older LCD monitors where there is some video lag problems, but I think most LCDs don't have lag problems these days.

Not sure about the lag, but might be due to how they flash the image on the screen without anything special to the picture.

I think CRT uses a electric beam to make the video which is faster than how LCD change the picture.
