I think it is hard in general to find reliable tech which last for a long time because many people want more features , and may not care as much for buying a very reliable comouter, so stores sell less reliable computers with a lot of features.

Yep, they do this to generate more profits in the future. Though most tend to sell PCs at a loss to make up for extra service costs.

I imagine computers which are very thin may have more overheating problems in the future, and generate profits from repair services.

Laptops are already too thin, cutting out usb ports and other things. I wish they didn't get so thin.

I wish more average computers came with more USB ports and SD card readers.

Granted, but their speeds aren't very good.

That is true the speed is not very good on many modern computers which are more affordable.
