Would be nice if more laptops came with parts that had swappable parts to it.

It would make my job easier, and buying PC parts a lot easier, as that can be a task.

There are some dedicated sites for old parts, but always questionable if they work properly or not.

I think some of the older style used and refurbished parts may also be repaired with cheaper and lower quality chips, wires, and thermal paste if it is a video card.

Pretty much, people tend to keep the good stuff for themselves and resell unreliable stuff.
