True, some depend on sales to get more working hours, so they may push good part reviews to bring in people.

I think some tech reviewers may also secretly post good reviews of tech products on online stores, so people are more likely to search the internet for tech reviews of tech products which the tech reviewer has posted about.

Some tech reviewers may start new tech trends and fads, so they have more things to reviews which get many views.

I heard Retro tech and games are becoming more popular, so I think a lot of tech reviewers may also review older tech and games to get more popular.

True, parts of classic stuff is making a great come back, it will be great to see old stuff being useful again.
