considering you can't use an old Pc for W11, it may require modern resources to keep a decent speed.

I think there maybe be a cheaper or free versions of Windows 11 which can run on slower computers, but the cheap version may come with a more basic antivirus, and fewer security features.

I think MS is putting the screws to W11, there won't be any cheap or knock off version unless one goes with linux.

I think there is a version of Windows 11 which is designed for the Raspberry Pi 4 and mobile CPU found in tablets and smartphones.
I think there may still be a very basic version of Windows for very cheap laptops and tablets, cash registers, ATMs, and toys like mini game consoles.

The Raspberry Pi 4 uses similar mobile CPU, video chips, and other parts found in cheap tablets which used to run Windows RT and Windows 10 Mobile, so Pi 4 is fast enough to run Windows 11 ARM which is designed for running on mobile chips.

I would still think it cause some over heating on such a small device.
