oh yeah, there is more to life then work and school. if you don't kick back and relax (computer, video games, anime, hanging out with friends/family) then you will be a blank person who wouldn't about a thing.
do you think high school should teach a kid everything they need to know in the first two years then let the kids choose what classes they want to learn about the last two years of their high school life?

No, otherwise some kids can't keep up if they try to teach every thing in two years.

Depends on what people are studying if it is something like PE, Art, photoshop, then I think most kids don't mind cutting recess.
