How often do you update?

Seems like whenever you turn around there is an update waiting for you. How often do you actually update your stuff both software and hardware wise?

I update software a few times a month.

I rarely upgrade my hardware until something breaks, or become too slow to use software which I want to use.

I tend to hold off on cell phone software updates, until I know for sure its safe to do so.
