Dell laptop catches on fire while shut

fire happen while laptop was shut. So it may have been in standby mode.
It was the battery catching fire. The fire happened in an office building.

I guest if you own a dell laptop you should use it on a metal desk also try not placing any materials that can catch on fire like paper, wood, plastic, gas, rubbing alcohol, oil paints, etc, or get a desktop comp or another brand of laptop like HP, asus, etc.
Now im slightly afraid cuz my sister boyfriend uses a dell laptop when he comes over to stay with us. I hope his laptop battery doesnt explode and burn down the house.
