Brit spends 23 hours a week on the internet oppose to 19 hours a week watching TV.
online gaming, IP telephony, TV streaming
Online banking and shopping combined take up less than two hours in a typical week
Email clocks up almost three and a half hours per week.
The YouGov poll was commissioned by price comparison site uSwitch.com, and asked almost 15,000 people about their internet habits.

Wow if you average it out 23hr/7days=3.29. Some People in the UK spend 3.5 hr per day online that kind of a lot, but i guest there's usually nothing better to do at home for most people, and going out these days can get kind of boring when all your friends are too busy going online instead of hanging out with you if your friends are internet coach potatos.
