Which method do you use to connect to your printer?

I mostly use a USB wired printer.

wireless can be nice if you have several devices through out the home, but wired is the best way.

I prefer wired because there no chance that a hacker will hack my printer when my PC is off. A hacker who hack a wireless printer can print many pages of spam messages or fully black and color pages which waste my ink and paper.

can't say I have ever heard of someone being hacked before to have pointless stuff being printed off.

I think there are Internet connected printers with Google Cloud print where people can use a person's gmail account to print pointless pages, so if a person's gmail account got hacked, and the printer is ON, the hacker can use the person's gmail to hack pointless stuff with Google Cloud print if the owner of the printer connected their printer to Google Cloud Print.

never thought of that before, I'll be sure to keep my printers offline.
