Eric Carty, 24, from san diego got pissed of for having his application rejected to join the school, so he hacked USC protected computer in June without permission.
He stole students social security numbess, and other info of aplicants. He seem to be interested in geting details of a women that he liked on the site.
He made a e-mail account called ihackedusc, and wrote an e-mail to an IT magazine called securityfocus.com to brag about his crime. He also bragged about it on his blog.
He got caught and got a plea bargain with prosecutors. He'll probably get six month of house arrest and pay $37,000 in damages for his hacking and data theft.

That dumb of him. He must be very pissed at USC for not accepting him, but still doing something illegal won't solve any problems. Plus, now he have to pay a $37,000 fine and house arrest for six month. He should of applied to a different school.
