Microsoft designed a new school in Philadelphia. The school is equiped with digital lockers, interactive "smart boards" for teachers, and laptops for every student.

Philadelphia asked Microsoft to design a "school of the future."

After 3 years and $63 million, the school was finished.

Microsoft and other companies were concerned that schools dont have enough graduates with enough skill to compete in the world market.

The school is like a regular workday for student instead of a normal school day.

It sounds like a great school for students. But, I'm not to sure digital lockers are a good idea since what will happen if there's a power outage. Does it mean all the students who put jackets and other stuff in their locker have to go home without jackets and other stuff since the locker cant be open cuz the power lock doesn't have power. I wonder if there be robots in the school that can do simple task like sweep floors, vacuum, and teach kids simple task.
