Does it matter how much power your electronics uses?

Yes. I dont want to be charging or replacing my batteries every 1 hour or less cuz my gameboy or other portable electronic device keeps running out of power.
I dont really care about how much power about small devices that I plug into the wall uses like a stereo uses because they dont use much power compared to other bigger devices like a electric stove, and i dont use a stereo much these days cuz im either listening to my mp3s or mxp on my comp.
I guest if i own my home someday. I care how much power the Fridge, washer, dryer, AC, heating, lighting, stove, TV uses. I care more about buying appliances that uses less power. Since electricity isn't super cheap, and it's better for the enviroment.
