Re: Steam or Epic Games Store?
I prefer Steam because I am afraid that newer game stores may closed down if they don't make enough money to stay open, and I lose all my game purchases, and can't download them again when I buy a new PC, or play them if I need to login to a website server to play a game.
Re: Steam or Epic Games Store?
I would go with steam myself, mostly since it is more established.
Re: Steam or Epic Games Store?
I agree, I prefer more establish game stores, and is more likely to be around in the future.
Many digital games stores don't last long. Games for Windows Live, Razer Digital game store, Ouya store, Onlive, Yahoo Games, etc has all failed, and shutdown.
I think physical games being popular with consoles is because you can still play your games if the digital game store shutdown, and you won't lose all your games whwn your console hard drive broke, and your games can't be re-downloaded if the store shutdown in the future.

Re: Steam or Epic Games Store?
seems like epic games though is getting the bigger titles first like borderlands 3
Re: Steam or Epic Games Store?
I think more people will use Epic Game Store if it has bigger titles and the games are affordable to buy like how Steam occasionally have a lot of cheap games sales.
Re: Steam or Epic Games Store?
it's mostly due to the game makers getting a bigger cut of the profits.
