How often do you clean your desktop?

Title says it, how often do you clean the software part of your computer's desktop?

I clean my desktop every few months. But, I do use Disk Cleanup, Bleachbit, and other disk cleanup a few times a week to delete temporary junk files.

I try to use bleach bit myself whenever I get the chance. Makes sure things don't linger.
