my laptop came with a HDD and a PCIE SSD, though the SSD was too small so I replaced the HDD with a 1 TB Sata SSD.

A 1TB SSD sounds nice. I feel most gaming PC and other high performance computers will have 1TB SSD in the future.

these days you can get a 1TB SSD for about $180 or in that range, so they are coming down in price.

That is a good price. I feel $100 for a 1TB SSD would cause more people to buy them. $180 can be expensive for people who bought a computer for $200.

it just all depends on how much you need for speed, because right now the difference between hdd and ssd is pure unmatched speed.

I think a hard drive speed is good enough for users who mainly use their PC for opening small files like MP3 files with Windows Media Player classic.
