I feel Crowd Funding websites may also prevent some people from not being able to pre-order the console because the website crashed because people will have more time to reserve a game console before the Crowd funding event ends, and many people may decide to reserve their console latter on after more blog posts are revealed about the console.

Crowdfunding also prevent companies from making products which few people want. If the product does not look good, very few people will fund it.

Crowdfunding sites can be good websites for promoting new hardware like consoles and computers because the websites may have a lit of active members which search for nice hardware which they want to pledge to.

I hope that becomes the future, would be worth while to upgrades to even make such a site for people.

It would be interesting if a big company like Sony and Microsoft which made a website for Crowdfunding new consoles, and allow users to cimment on what things they want and dont want in a console.
