I can believe plastic since they don't seem to do well in keeping quiet.

Thicker plastic or plastic foam may do better at keeping sound quiet.

Hopefully the PS5 will be quiet, the PS4 was way too loud. Could have used some of these anti dust methods really.

I read on a blog post that the PS5 will be quiet.
I felt Sony may of want to sell the PS4 for a more affordable price by removing features like antidust features., and more USB ports.

I guess they could release a super slim PS4 model with some nice quiet and clean features, but I think all focus is on PS5 right now.

In many years, I feel there maybe a Mini-PS3 and Mini-PS4 console with a dust filter and some pre-installed games, so Sony can make money from Retro-gamers who buy mini-consoles to collect and play.

I can see that, I wouldn't be surprised if they started with PS2.
