Using string or a rope to tie the monitor's stand to a table's legs or a hook installed on a table may stop most tip over accidents.

That will help, though most people wouldn't like the unslightly look of it.

A nicer looking chain or thinner looking string or wire may help it look better. Using string or a chain to hook the monitor to a table may protect it from getting stolen unless the robber has a sharp object like a saw or scissors.

agreed, and I think I've seen a few like that but not many tables can take such clamps or chains.

I guest monitor makers can also make a monitor stand which can't be easily tipped over. I remember seeing on an internet commercial of a mug/cup which can't be tipped over when someone hits it, so I feel monitor makers maybe able to make a stand which can't be tipped over like the untippable mug like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zz4T191J4P8 .

I guest using a strong suction cup at the bottom of the stand can also help with reducing tip over accidents.
