could be worth the extra cost if it keeps monitors lasting longer.

I feel the extra cost would not be a lot of money because the metal heatsinks can sometimes be bought for a few dollars for smaller heatsinks like RAM heatsinks, and heatsinks for the Raspberry Pi mini PC.

I think it be a worthwhile cost, sometimes monitors run longer than PCs.

It would also be nice if it is possible to use tools like a screwdriver to easily replace or repair the HDMI video, and power port when they break for some reason.

agreed, sometimes the ports just go bad or a cable breaks off in it, would be nice to replace those.

I seen videos of some HDMI cables having the metal part stuck in the port, and the plastic cable separate. I feel an eject button, or a small handle can be useful for removing the stuck metal plug from the port.

I like older video cables like those old DVD player Yellow video cables where the cable can be pulled off, and rarely get stuck on the port.

I've seen that as well. I've seen the newer USB ports not take an input correctly due to heat.
