Re: Recommended AV?
I think a software maker could make a simple to use program and call it "secure desktop" which launch an OS like Linux which is installed on a virtual machine, so people can use it to browse less trustworthy websites, open files which may contain malware and reply to e-mail from people they don't know.

Re: Recommended AV?
I remember Microsoft had Virtual PC which people can use to run Windows and other OS within MS's virtualization software. But, I think MS discontinued Virtual PC. Virtual PC may of been ahead of its time because most computer had smaller hard drives in the past, and most CPUs weren't fast.

That must have been before Vista, or 2000, I've never seen that.

Re: Recommended AV?
Microsoft Virtual PC worked on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2008 computers. I think Microsoft did not spend much time or money promoting Virtual PC because not a lot of regular people had computers with 2GB of RAM, and a faster CPU in the past.
