I think many people also don't want to cancel antivirus subscriptions because it can be somewhat of a hassle if you need to phone them. A lot of people may not want to spend more time looking for a better antivirus to replace their current AV.

You can cancel via the account but it can be a real hassle.

Re: Recommended AV?
I imagine some antivirus companies may send a lot of advertisements to re-subscribe to the antivirus, or even phone your home if they have your phone number after someone unsubcribe to their AV.

I don't think any of them do that, but I know if you get a service through best buy or staples for AV they will call you.

That sounds kind of annoying that a store will call you. But, it can be useful if they offer discounts during the call.

Annoying yes, but they do remind you to renew their AV services, which people do forget.froggyboy604 wrote: ↑Sun May 22, 2022 5:39 am That sounds kind of annoying that a store will call you. But, it can be useful if they offer discounts during the call.
