6% government sales tax + 7.5% provincial sales tax= 13.5% of the product's price is the sales tax in British Columbia, Canada.

blimey cheapness,

in the UK VAT is 17.5% all prices are quoted with tax added,

which is a nice rip off, when taken into account our lovely govt. services that send prices sky rocketing regularly
