How important are pictures and videos in blog entries?

It depends on the blog. But, If it's a gadget, computer, video game, celebrity, swimsuit model blog. It be very important because I like to know how gadget, computer, video game, celebrity, swimsuit models look before I check them out in real life.

It always nice to have a picture or video since it adds a little bit of entertainment value to the blog.
