Do you think money changes people?

Yes, It changes people who have poor self-control and are generally weak minded individuals with self-esteem problems. But, people who know who they are and where they came from probably won't change as much.
Sometimes people with money do a lot of good things for the world like Princess Diana. Tragic that she died so soon.

It's funny you bring this up because I ask my boy-friend all the time "Hey if you had X amount of money, what would you do?" And we both agree on completely paying of whatever monthly bills we have for a while and put the rest of the money towards investments so that we have something to fall back on.
As far as it changing people, I totally agree with that because it's true. Someone can be a completely different person when it comes to money

glad, that i didn't mess up your forum account since It was my first time changing someone account name.
I think I pay back my family for all the years of eating their food, and living at their place which I still do.
I probably just be self-employed if I had the money. fixing stuff.

I also think it depends on the person and their personality. Also the amount of money and how they got it. I think winning a lottery may have a different impact on someone's personality then if they worked hard to earn that money.

To many variables to give a simple yes or no answer,
as supz pointed out it varies on the personality and how they got the money
from rags to riches over night usually people become jackass's
though people that have worked hard well in my experience tend to be more down to earth
but again there are exceptions to these

very good points.
Sometimes it's not the person that changed, but their friends and family who changed.
I'm sure bill gates have a lot of old friends (people that know him) who ask him to invest in their dumb ideas, or borrow money.
