Do you think a lot of websites and other places send too much mail to you?

I sometimes feel a lot of forums and other websites send too many newsletters about stuff that's not that important to the average subscriber like "we have 5 new members, etc"

Pizza restaurants like Dominos and Discount pizza places send a lot of those ads telling people to try their new pizzas.

Dominoes does that? I don't know about pizza hut but they let you order online. I hate pre-authorizing the credit cards on those orders.

But yeah alot of the places do send too much email. That's why i have a personal email (something@gmail.com/school email) and an email for spam. So it's all good =).

i get a lot of emails from forums. i give all of them the same email that i don't really check. when i do i have like 500 unread messages. i look at some of them but delete most of them.

I give them mostly a email i don't used much

I barely read them, unless they have a catchy title.

I sent a newsletter once to my forum members. My first newsletter I only did it to let a lot of the old members and none active members know that I updated the site a lot and forum.

I don't send newsletters cause i don't want my members mad at me..I only do it when its really really important.

Well, some of the boards I registered on send me newsletters that spam up my inbox. I never read them.. they infact cause me not to go back. Same with people constantly PMing me every week why I'm inactive. Well, that board is closed now.. so I don't have to worry about it anymore.
