Okay If you currently own a forum or your in the progress of creating one how much effort do you put in your forum/site?

I know I'm constantly putting loads of work on my board just to fullfill my members request and make their stay a more friendly pleseant one=P

I spend about 6-7 hours a day adding in new codes/forums,updated graphics and lots more just so my members arn't board and have something to keep them intrested at all times.

The hardest part would be advertising to bring in more members though as It's the most time consuming and draws you away from your board.

So far I'd say I've spent about 86 hours on my forum total.Doesn't sound like much but my board has been open just a little over a month so to me it's seems very dedicated.

I think the more dedicated you are and the better staff you have then most likly your forum/site will be a successful one,it also helps if your board gives the members a nice feel to it so they don't feel akward and unwanted.Although this is all just my personal opinion on the matter so please speak up and let me know how much effort you put in,and what your opinions are on everything that I've stated above..if you have enough time of course though. :)

I put about 4+ hours on weekends. On week days, I'm busy with homework, so I spend 1-2 hours, but when I'm on holiday I spend most of my freetime on forums.

SetoTK helps out a lot with installing the themes, blogs, and Flash games, etc.

I just spend most of my time on content and getting more members to join mxp by advertising. I also work on the newsletters, and blog entries for the board.

It's cool that you spend so much time on your board. Good luck with your board.
